The Cosmology of Kyoto is described as 'A Visual Mindscape of Old Japan'.

More so an art piece than a traditional video game, you are transported to medival Kyoto in the Heian period.

The game deals with historical, horror, religious and educational themes, and features mechanics such as karma and reincarnation.

Deus Ex is a dystopian, cyber-punk action RPG. You play as JC Denton, an agent of the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition.

This game was created in the year 2000, and touches on conspiracy topics such as the Illuminati, the New World Order, the Trilateral Commission, the Knights Templar, FEMA, grey aliens, Men in Black, and so much more.

Deus Ex has received critical acclaim, including being named "Best PC Game of All Time".

Pathologic's original, Russian name is 'Мор. Утопия'. Meaning 'More. Utopia' is a pun on Thomas More's Utopia and the Russian word for "plague".

It is a surrealist, survival game in which you can choose one of three characters. Each character has a different Mission, however, the objective is to survive twelve days & uncover the source of a strange lethal sickness known as the "sand plague".

Pathologic was critically acclaimed when first released in Russia, however, the reception of the game was mixed in English speaking countries (largely due to it's inital poor translation).

From the creator of Fear & Hunger "The game is a hybrid of survival horror and dungeon crawler genres with its influences ranging from Silent Hill to Nethack... Fear & Hunger is heavy on atmosphere and ruthless in its difficulty.

This game is not for anyone under the age of 18, and those who are uncomfortable with depictions of gore, violence, sexual violence, self-mutilation, torture, drug use, and generally horrific topics.

This is one of the scariest games I've played.

LSD: Revamped is a fan-made remake of the cult-classic PS1 game LSD: Dream Emulator.

LSD: Dream Emulator is an exploration game where the player explores surreal environments without any objective. The player can only move and touch objects that will warp them to another setting.

The game was conceived by Japanese artist Osamu Sato, who rejected the idea of games, and wanted to use the PlayStation as a medium for creating contemporary art. The game's concept is based on a dream diary kept by an Asmik Ace employee for over a decade.

Yume Nikki is much more a surrealist, psychadellic, and weird visual novel than a proper video game.

There's no real goal or storyline, you wake up, sleep, dream, and repeat the cycle.

Walking around different worlds in your dreams and interacting with the characters within them.
